Exclamation SVChost Error

Ok i have two problems, first off anytime i use any internet type of software, i get the message,

svchost.exe - Aplication error
The instruction at "0x009996bc" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "written".

Then i in internet explorer, i can't go to an address by typing it in at the address bar, it doesn't do anything, i have to google the site to get to it. very annoying. System overall is running slower. I know alot of people getting this svchost window. So please help. Thanks

Hi there. And welcome to PC Help Forums.

Sounds like a Norton problem to me.

It also sounds like an annoying virus/spyware thing is clogging up your computer and is ******* off Norton.

Here's what I want you to do:
go to this link: https://europe.f-secure.com/exclude/...ght/blbeta.exe
and download f-secure. Install and run it, and tell me the results.
