Default Windows media center edition

I have a Windows media center PC. I recently restored the system and when i go to the media center it says "your video card or driver is not compatable with MCE". It worked perfectly fine before.

When i go to device manager under other devices i get

Multimedia Controller
and Video Controller (VGA compatable)

Both say "The drivers for this device or not installed2 so im guessing this is the problem with the video card.

Also after i restored the system my computer seems slower and windows all jumpy espicaly internet explorer and firefox. I formated the hardrive so theres loadsa memory free.

Thanks if any1 can help

Hya Jaymondo.

It would have been handy if you posted the brand and model of your card, but you can get MCE drivers for ATI and Nvidia here:

Hey there Jaymondo, the the simplest way to find out your graphics card (without downloading any software.)

Is

Press start - Run- type in dxdiag - then click display.

Whats it say next to name etc ... .
