Hi there, Could you try this to see if it brings back your Task bar, move your curser over the line at the bottom of the screen; (There should be one)it should change into a double-sided arrow. Slowly click and drag the line upwards to restore the Taskbar.

Hya Un_known.

If you go to ctrl,alt,del?file/new task(run) and then type explorer.exe, does the taskbar come up then?

Have you also tried in safemode? (hit f8 when booting up)

Give this a try:

Go to ctrl,alt,del/file/new task(run), and then type:
sfc /scannow >press enter
Have you XP CD in youre drive, and it'll run itself, replacing any missign or damaged protected XP files.

Or try the 'Prework' link below in my sig to look for malware problems.
