Default Formatting

I have reinstall XP pro on my laptop. Its now telling me that i can no longer use the product key i have entered. Its not allowing me to log-in.

I was told i should have formattted my hard-drive 1st. How do i do that? Cant log-in & i have tried starting up the CD in the CD drive.

Hi TGR you may need to go into your BIOS and configure it to boot from the CD Rom. You can then load XP setup from the CD Rom delete/recreate partitions and format the hard disk and re install Windows.

Im just wondering what partition do i have to delete? Its given me these options

-:Partition1 [FAT] 78M <70MB Free>
C:Partition2 [NTFS] 35252MB <17773MB Free>
E:Partition3 [FAT32] 2816MB <510MB Free>
