Default [Fixed]Lost desktop icons after crash!
Hi Everyone,

Hopefully one of ya can help me! Last night I shut my pc down and it got stuck, so i just cut the power to it and went to bed. Today after booting it up the desktop is totally blank (eg no my computer, recycle bin or any of the many shortcuts i had previously created are showing) My task bar still appears so I can open programs via that (thank God!)

I have tried rebooting it a couple of times but the desktop stays blank, and I have tried unchecking/checking the show desktop options via the display options > customize desktop.

Hi Jim, welcome to the PCHF!

Can you right click on your desktop and select Arange Icons By... and then make sure "Show Desktop Icons" is selected ?
