Hi dangmcclellan. Welcome to the PCHF!
Goto Start -> Control Panel -> Users
In here (I can't remember where as I'm on a domain and that users screen is completely different) is a place where you can set passwords.

Goto Start -> Control Panel -> Users -> change an account -> choose the account you need a password on -> change/add password
