Default dxva_sig file on desktop

I keep getting this file on my desktop everytime I play a video clip using my new broadband. It is a tiny file "dxva_sig. It has a B in it.
I have a ATI 9600 Graphics card,I have updated the drivers and tried many things suggested on google but nothing seems to work .Origianlly the video was in something that looked like infared with wild colors. I applied the windows patch to it but while it fixed the video, the file keeps appearing on my desktop. Can Anyone help?????? I am tired of deleting this every day.
Thanks,
Ray

Hi rayfornario, and welcome to the PCHF!

Can you please follow the Prework instructions in my link, and post the resulting logs back in this thread.

Thanks

Afaik that is an older codec problem, try uninstalling all codecs/codec packs and reinstall them again but updated versions if available.
