Default volume problem (windows xp )

Lol, i know this is going to sound stupid but my volume has gone to ****... It works on my other Windows"guest" user but just not on the main one... THe "volume, blance" control button is stuck in one place, and it's not highlighted in anyway like the others, thus stopping all sound through this user. I have tried restarting, cleaning the computer and all ****, if any body knows what's up it would be appreciated if you could give me a buzz on it.

Hi,

Can you change the volume by double clicking on the sound icon and going into the more advanced sound settings (bottom right - next to the clock)?

Possibly...

Try creating a new user Ziggy, then if it works in that profile, I'll tell you how to move all of your settings and files to that profile.
