Hey, I recently have had a problem. Everytime I boot up my pc, I get an exclamation mark on the bottom right that says, Explorer.exe file corrupt, the UTVWA.ini2 file is corrupt or unreadable. Please run chkdsk utl now. I ran it, nothing changes, I've also done sfc scan, and it just pops up and then clsoes itself. I read somewhere else that said to try and delete it, I did but now I have the same problem but just no error popup. If I try to click on anything that would use explorer the screen goes blank. I can only access icons on the desktop(minus folders), and I can get to everyfile using Winrar. Any suggestions how clearing this up? I would like to have not to reformat, and I don't have my WindowsXP cd here atm. I did get a friend to e-mail me a clean explorer.exe file though as well, if that relates to anything.
Thanks.
