Hey there , recently on a trip to canada i bought my beloved compag (running on xp) laptop. On holiday i bought some dvds to play on the laptop but to my dismay they didnt work.So then i changed the region of the laptop and they worked fine. When trying to play the dvds i had brought from england i found i had to change the region back , which was all fine and danday. So i changed it back and forth a few times and found that it had become permanently stuck onto canadian dvd region(so i cant play my english regions
). I would really appreciate any advice or help you could give me on changing back the region Many thanks |

hello .....
when you are changing you regional settings .... are you sure selecting the new region from both of <<regional options>> and <<advanced options>> ??? are you running a pure copy of windows xp and not a modified one ?? such as xp lite or xp spirit ?????? |
