Hey, my mate had this network spy thing for Windows xp where you spy and control another pc on a Local Area Network. My school also had this to make sure we were doing the right work in I.T lessons etc haha.
Is this a program or part of Windows, can anyone shed some light on this?

Windows does have an option to share control with a remote location but I dont believe that this "Network Spy" is part of that. I did a google search for those words and I found software, so I'm going to assume its a program that one would have to buy.

The most popular remote control software out there, is called VNC. It lets you watch, or take control of another persons computer.
It's open source, which means it's free. Works great as well
