i installed a Vista transformation pack on my copy of XP, i have uninstalled it but now when i reboot my pc i have no taskbar and no desktop, the only way i can access any programs (including the internet to write this) is by going through task manager and using the run facility to got to program files. Don't know about Ahead, but see if this helps with your explorer prob:
go to start / run and in the run window type in: sfc /scannow >enter Have you XP CD in youre drive, and it'll run itself, replacing any missign or damaged protected XP files.

Hey smokeycheech!
I think almost every software producer will produce new software if the old is not compatible with Vista. Please wait for a Tech Team members to reply on your problem. Blue |

Sounds like a repair install would be a good idea atm:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/u...ps/doug92.mspx You'll keep all your files and settings, but you will have to update windows again when done.
