Default 'Windows - No Disk' error message

When the boot up procedure of XP has progressed for some time, the following message pops up twice in succession. There is no indication which disk the message refers to but it appears to be related to two card reader devices attached to my PC namely a Kodak Printer Dock and a HP PhotoSmart printer.

The messages are generated by CSRSS.EXE determined by checking through the taskmanager. I'm opposed to killing the message by means of setting HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Windows to a value which eliminates these messages. I need to find the program that triggers CSRSS.EXE into creating it.
Anyone out there that can help please?

Can you check in Computer Management (right click My Computer --> manage --> Disk Management) that the USB devices drive letters are at the bottom of the list.

Thank you very much for your quick reply. There are NO USB devices listed at all in Disk Management. I just discovered tonight that the same message pops up when I start a "Hoyle Board Games" package. Only once!
Thanks for your assistance.

At last, the problem has been solved...!!! With the aid of and advisor of Hewlett Packard it was found that having the BIOS boot order set to CD first and Hard disk second will cause this problem. HP was contacted as the card reader in the HP printer was causing the message to appear. Kodak was contacted as well as the card reader in their Printer Dock was also causing the message to appear. They were unable to help.
I hope this information will help others who encounter this problem.
