Welcome of PCHF!

If you didnt say that you wiped your HD I would say Malware, but since you did, I have no idea. I'll let someone know that your post is waiting a looksee though.

Hi Sniper, welcome to the PCHF!

Fromt he brief discription you've given us, it sounds like either an overheating issue, or there's a hardware problem with either your RAM, power supply or motherboard itself.

Can you please post your exact PC hardware specs?

What happends when you try to use it?

And does the freezing happen randomly, or when doing something specific each time? I.e. playing a game, using that dvd player ect.

And lets have a look at the temps, download and run this app:

http://www.almico.com/sfdownload.php

And post back the temp and voltage readings it shows please.
