Default jave enabled?

been on a site today that when i went to view pages came up with java must be enabled ive tried and looked in my options to do it and al the enabled boxes are ticked but it still wont work ? any ideas??

Visit here http://www.java.com/en/ and check that java is on your system.

Hya Discopants, welcome to PCHF.


Also make sure it is the latest version if you already have Java installed. To test if your version is the latest click here.

If you need to update it:
  • Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on the Software icon > add/remove programs.
  • Search in the list for all previous installed versions of Java. (J2SE Runtime Environment....)
  • It should have the following icon next to it: Select it, and click Remove.
  • Then Download and install the newest version from Here.
