Yea, it wont let me change my administrators password from Commander if it is blank already. It says "This users password is blank, to set one, please do so from your control panel". It doesnt matter though, I give up, im just going to go onto my safe mode, transfer all my important files to my secondary harddrive and format the one with windows on it. Thank you very much for your help but I am afraid that I must be cursed. Lol. Ill let you know how it all works out in the end. Thank you once again, you have been a true help.

This is definatly a strange issue and infact, i've never seen it before..

When you get the option to setup an admin password, set it - even just to admin or your mothers maiden name or something simple you will remember. Just incase something like this happens again

Sorry I couldn't get this one sorted properly for you..keep us posted

Before you reformat, if you havent already, try this maybe:
http://www.gtopala.com/about_siw.html
This is a good little system info utility, and its supposed to retrieve passwords. I havent tried that feature of it yet, but i like all the other features ive tried. Its worth a try, its free, and its handy to have around.
Edit: You dont have to install it, just run the executable, so you can put it on floppy, cd , or flash................

Also if it's not too late ksince, are you able to log into Administrator via safe mode?
