EDIT: Hey Madgamer, i didnt see your post when i wrote this, i have already tried "administrator" but i havent tried with the upper case A and the admin. Thanks for the suggestions, ill go try. And BTW, yea, i have tried logging in without a password, still doesnt work.

EDIT 2: None of those passwords work, thanks anyway, this is the weirdest thing.

How did you try to do the repair install? Did you boot from the windows disc, or did you try it whille in safemode?

And incase there is a password set somehow, maybe these could help:

I booted from the disk and then told it to repair. I really dont want to lose the info on my harddrive.

Ok, got to work...first thing i did was ask about that secret disk.
Second thing i did, was test that it works - and it does.

Instead of me trying to find a location to host this file / email it to you...
http://www.datapol-technologies.com/...der/index.html

Here's a nice little link that will take you right to it

I'm not sure if the "Demo" version that you can download will work, but the program is worth 200 times its weight in gold...now that i have it, it's being embedded into my computer archives forever .

Let us know how it goes.

Wow, sweet, thank you. I will let you know if it works in a few minutes. Once again, you rule.

EDIT: Ok, I searched the site and downloaded some of the stuff, how exactly is it supposed to work and what are you supposed to do? It is rather confusing. It does alot of different things but i dont know how im going to run them without being able to boot properly. Safe mode doesnt allow me to access disks in the drive or floppies.

hmm...ok
good question

Basically, the version we have here at work is a floppy version that boots up automatically and starts straight away.
hmmm gimme a sec and i'll have a quick look for you

Ok, I managed to make a bootable floppy of the demo version that should work..
PM me your email address and i'll send it through in a .RAR file for you to extract to floppy.

Sorry to keep being stupid but i really dont know what i am supposed to do. I loaded it up and it listed all of my PCI devices and then ended saying "freeDOS". It wont let me type anything or do anything. Am I supposed to shut my PC down now? Then what? I feel soo stupid but my knowledge of computers ends once you get into the system commands and stuff.
