Angry browser unable to support certain websites

Hi all. Yet another newbie here, posting for the first time.

I have a problem which didn't seem to occur previously but is now causing a lot of inconvenience for me. I'm running XP on a Toshiba notebook. Whenever I use websites that require me to fill-in forms/register (most recent examples include applying for a new bank account and a yahoo! email address) I complete the fill-in forms/registration and when I click on complete/OK (usually after at least 10 minutes of form-filling!) my browser just totally closes, like disappears as though I've clicked on the red x in the top right corner. I really have no idea what's causing this but it's becoming as real pain in the A*$!

Any ideas/suggestions hugely appreciated

Thanks for all/any replys in advance
Dylan

Hi Dylan! Welcome to the forum mate! Terribly sorry that noone has gotten back to you about your problem...have you solved this issue yet? If not, I have a suggestion.

It sounds like you may have a bit of malware on your computer..so, what we'll need you to do, is follow the prework here and post back the resulting logs when finished. Our secuirty team will have a look of the log file, and tell you how to proceed.
