Windows XP/2000 - Pc Slow Down? posted in the Operating Systems forums; Ok well today i noticed that my PC seemed a little slow starting up, just kinda got that feeling that something wasent right. so what would be the best way ...

Default Pc Slow Down?

Ok well today i noticed that my PC seemed a little slow starting up, just kinda got that feeling that something wasent right. so what would be the best way to check/fix this?

Ya loading Windows desktop

(I went into RegEdit and in my Run regristry folder and i found 3 things that im not sure what they are)

CTHelper - CTHELPER.EXE

CTxfiHlp - CTXFIHLP.EXE

UpdReg - C\Windows\UpdReg.EXE

Better than that - click on Start > run > type in msconfig and press enter > what's in your startup tab? Copy and paste the contents and we'll let you know what to stop from loading with Windows...

Those are all from Creative and legit. And you should be able to untick the empty line without problems.

But what is the full 'command' line, for that rundll32 entry? Is that NVMCTRAY?

its "RunDLL32.exe" NvMCTray.dll,NvTaskbarInit

i think its the Nvidia taskbar icon isnt it?
