IMG_0285.jpgHi all I have a little problem. when I start up my computer a screen pops up and it eventually goes away. I am going to show you a pic of it. I have done virus scans used spybot, adaware. and done a hyjack this log and nothing is being found. The symbols in the box arent always the same. and sometimes there is something else that comes on the screen before the system does finish boot up this is one of them windows\system32\main.cpl its very annoying and I'm not sure if I have a trojan or bug any help at all would be great.

Can you post the contents of your (Start > run > type msconfig (press return) > )startup tab.

yes my startup tab in config is.

ccap C\programfiles\commonfiles\symantec shared\ccapp.exe

it is the only file in there

That's...odd....the startup tab normally has around 7 items when windows is first installed.

I remember a joke i used to play, while i was still studying, was to have a window pop up before my friends could log on - abusing them a tiny bit calling them goats, or other random animals....nothing too serious

It looks like what you've got there...well, the same window - i'll see if i can remember where that is for you.

would you mind to check your startup items .. from Start >> Run >> msconfig

and check your services tap as well .... check on ( hide all microsoft services ) and remove the check from the unknown items too

I went and did what you wanted there is nothing unusual in the services tap and in the start tap is only the one for symantec and my mouse
