Default Microsoft Outlook 2003 Freezing Issues

Hey all, I have a question for an Outlook guru out there... My Microsoft Outlook 2003 freezes when I try to take an entire email message and drag it to my desktop (or any other location). However, it doesn't happen every time; instead, it only seems to be an issue when the file size of the email message is larger than ~ 2MB or so... I have no problem reading or downloading the attachment to the message. The problem only arises when I try to copy the entire email message to a location on my XP SP2 PC. I keep my XP updated and maintained as well as my Outlook 2003. Any takers on this problem???

Thanks,
-Clayton

I would have a look at your pagefile (virtual memory) size.

Right click on My Computer > properties > Advanced > Performance Settings > Advanced > change button > Raise the values OR set to System Managed size

Well, I changed the virtual memory config. to system controlled, checked a few emails, and none are freezing... However, it still takes a long time to drag an email message to the desktop (> 20 sec for large sizes (>2MB) )... I understand what the page file is, but how should this change help the situation? Any other suggestions? -Clayton
