Default Sudden Lag

Hi, I got a problem which came out of nowhere, I own a laptop, brandly Asus V6.
The Problem is; my laptop have developed a certain habit like when it reached a certain time, it will go nuts and boom!!! With no reason causing it what so ever. It will start to lag, and a quick stuck happens consecutively in every 4 seconds i think, like it has been looped, it goes on and on and on and again. I barely do nothing to cause this. All I can remember is that, I played a game without the AC, and it got stuck a few times, I can still play it, run it like in 5 minutes and I switched off the application and turn off the laptop. Booted up the laptop after like an hour, this time with AC, and there you go, looped lag. File transfers have gone slow, and application startup have slown down too and all of this have happened in a really mysterious way. I've run the AntiVirus, Anti-Spyware programme, Registry cleaner programme, all updated with definitions, found nothing wrong. Maybe perhaps somthing I've missed and you know about it?
And I have been experincing this thing 3 times and I have reformated it myself TWICE already, all 3 including this, have gone wrong without a specific explained reason, and I am not ready to give up on this and reformat it without a decent fix, been there, done that, I want to know what happened and how can I really fix what's causing the leak.
Anyone there with a useful information, I would like to plea for help, and help me with all your capabilities behalf. Hear from you soon. Cheers.

Didn't you read, I did scan the computer, nothing was found, now as I type I'm downloading the Ewido programme, I should reply again after I have done all of the procedures, but first, thanks for replying Adrian.

Btw, I defragmented my system last night, I don't know but I think it helped a bit. And what do you mean by "temp of my CPU and Hard Drive"? If you're talking about heat, then the problem doesn't lay itself there.

hi kelymin

the use of a hijackthis log will tell us what exactly is on your computer that shouldn't be there - processes that are running, requesting/sending data and heaps of other info that can be useful to find spy/malware.
