Angry Can't uninstall my network driver

I had been using a LNE100TX ethernet adapter (LNE100 TX V4 for my network driver. I just purshcase a D-Link 10/100/1000 Gigabit adapter. I have physically removed the LNE100TX adapter from my computer but it still won't let me uninstall it. Everytime I try to uninstall the driver I get the message that the my system might need this driver to reboot. Can someone please help me get this driver uninstalled and furthermore what's keeping it from uninstalling. I'm frustrated. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forum, have you tried removing the driver/files in Windows safe-mode (without networking). It should work...

Hi Larkina, welcome to PCHF

Might I suggest you disable the hardware first, restart into safe mode, and then try and remove the hardware?
