Question pcmcia problem
i have a toshiba laptop the other day the wireless network card just stop working,the comp lost the card it now finds it as a pcmcia mtd-0002 card,no matter what i do i cant get it to find the dlink card,,what is 1 to do !!

cool laptops are new to me also,iam pretty good with pc,s i have updated bios on it thinking it would fix it,but no go yet, i have done ali can think of changed cards it just wont go,bin reading alot on it,seems it has happen to a few people but no one has a answer.other then a sound problem on the compacs..

toshiba satillite L25 s1196 and the card is a Dlink DLW-650

Do you have another PCMCIA slot that you can use?
Also, you may want to fully update your Windows installation. There are A LOT of people having this problem with all types of laptops...no comfort, I'm afraid...

What version of Windows are you using?

xp service pack 2 and i dont have any other slots,i have bin reading that alot of people have this problem with no answers to fixing it,i even reloaded xp with no results.
