Default Hi, I'm back and I got a flash drive problem...

Yea, I didn't know where to put this at, so I'm just going to put it here lol. Anyways, yeah, a few months ago, I bought a flash drive from Ebay, it was for 1 dollar with 15 bucks of shipping so I though it was a good deal. Anyways, recently, I moved back to Mexico, so I wanted to backup some of my files on my flash drive, so I did, and I had some free space left. So in our way here, since we were driving, I was taking pictures with my little webcam, it's also a digital camera. Well, when I got to Mexico, I wanted to save this pictures on my flashdrive, I did, I was about to plug it off, so i went to the lower right bottom, the little green hard drive looking-like botton, and right clicked it and stoped it and everything. Ok, so it tells me that its been stopped so I can just unplug it now. I did, and I wanted to show my friend a picture of our trip some picture I took with this girl I met, and at the time I open my flashdrive again, THE IMAGE WAS CORRUPTED! So I had to delete it. And it wasn't just that picture, it was all the pictures I took. And not even just that, also it was some very important files I had in it. So I copied the still working files and saved them to the computer, and formatted my flash drive. And then I put back those files. I did the whole stop drive procesure, and I still get corrupted files. Any way to fix this? Thank you!

PS. I used to come here a lot and I even became a mod one time lol. Does anyone remember me?

Of course we remember you Snoop

Did you try the flash drive in any other PC yet? If it does the same in another machine you can be 99% sure you bought a dud - Altho for $16 it's almost disposable, right?

I have also got my flash drives from the same source (4) and have never had a problem with them.Next time wait for it to finish loading and then pull it straight out without using the stop icon in the tray....

Hi, yay someone remembers me lol. Well yeah, I did tried it on another computer. I used it at school before I came back to Mexico. And I transfered some video clips we recorded doing stupid stunts lol. And I remember that when I put it on my flashy, I went to another computer to show it to a friend, and it worked. But once I got home, that's where it got corrupted . I was thinking it might have something to do that I got my computer on some carpet... you know. Maybe it has something to do with it? And I do that, I most of the times wait for like 5 minutes after it says its done copying to then unplug it lol.

Ummm, where do you think I would be able to buy a rubber carpet to put under my computer? I don't have a Walmart near me anymore.
