Default [Fixed] Slaved a hdd and can't enter the folder I need too.

I slaved a hdd from another computer and can't access a folder that I need too. The folder is named Brenda which is her user name and I want to get to her documents through there. I get denied at trying to open Brenda and she did not have a password before I don't believe because on her com when you booted up it explorer would crash everytime.

Anyone know how I can get in this folder?

Easy solution. You just need to take ownership of the folder.

Browse to the directory which "Brenda" is in
Select Tools -> Folder Options -> View
downt he bottom make sure Simple File Sharing is turned off.
Right click on the Brenda directory and select Security -> Advanced -> Owner

Select your username and select Replace owner or subcontainers and objects. Apply and close all windows.

You should now have access to Brenda.
