Default Can't install Windows!

Okay this is really fishy. I have a computer which I just installed Windows XP on and it worked fine.

I now have one that is a friend of mine whos I reinstalled windows xp a year ago and now I can't install it.

I get to copying files and it says it can't find cmprops and I know that is on the disk because I have searched it. The thing is it says the D drive is not accessible. There is also another file like i explorer or something after it and if I skip the files Windows looks very blank.

I think the only hardware change is the dvd burner.

Anyone have some ideas?

Hi USALA2006, could i suggest that you try another disk (if you have one) but use the product key for the disk that you are having problems with.

Turned out it was the dvd burner. Once it got to the 39 mins left screen and copying files it would dissapear. I put in another dvd rom and it did it fine. Thanks for the help though!
