All of the sudden I can not save any passwords in IE 6. I went to microsoft and checked on the problem but I did not have the disable password caching in my registry so I was lost. I disabled all security on my computer in an attempt to recitfy this problem but to no avail. Is there a way of correcting this problem. I didn't change anything that I know of. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, ok goto tools-->internet options and click the button displaying settings, what is the amount of disk space allowed set to? you need it set high enough to be able to store your passwords. also by "you can not save any passwords" what do you mean? do you mean that it dosent give you the option or do you mean when you click save it dosen't save the password. if you let us know im sure we will be able to assist you easier
thx dave

I mean that IE is not saving the passwords at all. When I change websites and go back to my home page I have to re-enter my password and username again. It seems to be the same on all sites including yours. I do not get the dialog box that asks if you wish to save passwords anymore.

Download and run this script by doubleclicking on it , and see if it works then:

Glad to hear it worked.
But nope , im afraid not. Could be just Windows being Windows.. But aslong its the only strange thing that happens then i wouldn't worry about it to much.If you notice more strange things happening then it might be an idea to check for malware problems , but i don't think that is necessary. But it can't hurt either , if you want then click on the "Prework" link below in my sig and follow those instructions there.
