Hya Carlito.

Sp2 shouldn't uninstall the defragmenter , but yours doesn't work anymore it seems?
And that started when installing sp2 i asume?

Try this first , go to start/run and type dfrg.msc <press enter. See if the defragmenter comes up then.

To re install the defragmenter, first open my computer, then click on "Tools" then "Folder Options" and then click on the "View"Tab. Then scroll down and click on "Show Hidden Files & Folders", hit "Apply" then ok. While still in my computer, double click your hard disk and then double click on the "WINDOWS" folder. Now scroll down to a folder called "inf". Once in this folder scroll down and find a file called "dfrg.inf" and right click on it. Now choose "Install".
