boy..........am I in a fix?

These are a few of the problems I am getting..........................


When I try to use
sfc /scannow
I get this message

still doesn't work if I reboot.

Everytime I reboot, I get the message about running Chkdsk.

If I try to run Chkdsk I get this

I have 26.3 used space and 38.4 free space.
Use windowsXP.

I can't use the 'restore to earlier date'

I really want to reformat the p.c.
I have back up drive (f) with two files in, restore.gho and resto001.ghs
I used to have an icon with a ghost on that I could click to start the reformatting program but it is nowhere to be found!

Am I a lost cause?
Will I be able to reformat my p.c.?
Any help would be gratefully received
