good work kento

The only problem with have multiple OS's installed when you only use one ever, is it's a waste of around 2gb (average installing of XP) of hd space...the call is yours

and how hard is it to create a partition to keep windows seperate?

What i do on my computer, is have 1 80gb partition for windows and programs, then the other 120gb dedicated to games
then another 200gb drive dedicated to downloads, music, movies, funny files, etc etc
and 2x 120gb hds dedicated to tv shows

(i have alot of hd space)

seperating your windows from the rest of the software can help keep your computer faster then most, and if you keep it up it will work well

Wow, you do have a lotta hard drive space! That's kinda what I was thinking of doing... I've got a 250Gb HD with 2 partitions-- C: is 39998 Mb, E: is, uh, the rest of what's left over. I had to install the English OS onto the E: drive since the Japanese one is on the C: drive. Can I create another partition on what is currently my E: drive to keep the OS seperate from the other stuff? Oh, I forgot to mention, I also have an external 120 Gb drive that I was using with my laptop (though I don't think that'll effect anything, will it?)
Hmmmm... these PCs just keep getting faster and more complicated, don't they?

Yes, the certainly do keep getting more complicated.

Creating another partition is possible, without formatting...but you may have to purchase some more software. Partition Magic. I used to use this program a few years back and it was really successful (until I wanted to install Linux, then it didn't work too well).

I'd suggest just starting again, and getting rid of the Japanese version all together (if you dont plan on using it)...and installing the English version on that.
