In admist installing an update for an ATI program I had to take the orginal program off the remove list. To cut a long story short it all went a bit pear shaped and now I can't play any of my games. Any ideas how to recover these files? (I've allready checked my recycle bin xD)

Hya PillowMint , welcome to PCHF.
What did you exactly delete? The ATI videodriver maybe? If yes , then you can download those from here: https://support.ati.com/ics/support/...ge&folderID=27

No, I've tried that before but it doesn't work.
![]() I'm sure one of you must know how to use the checkpoint feature on this old comp? It seems like the only way since I've messed with my settings aswell. |

so what actually happens when you try to play the games? does it give you an error message?
Also, you can try this piece of software for recovering lost files http://www.tech-pro.net/active-backup.html
