I have a toshiba laptop for a year , ive had to have the heat sink fixed twice and the display once . now its overheating again .
i tried to use a cd to download and save my files before sending it in , currently i have a small fan sitting a couple inches from the side of elevated laptop to give it air and keep it cool , and the cd rom wont work , i havent changed anything or know how , and i definitely dont know anything about bios . any other ideas so i dont screw up my bios ...

you really think a fella is named summer ? at least i can figure that out ... sorry i posted on YOUR thread , wasnt aware you had exclusivitity to it and darn my thinking for thinking differently... please enjoy YOUR thread and learn names while your at it

I didn't bother reading the username. Seems like you didn't bother reading my post entirely either, otherwise you would have seen I was kidding and actually wished you well in your search for the answer to fix your pc.
