Oh and I would like to add that the language bar is not suppose to be between (3) and (4). It's suppose to have only one divider, so in other words, it should be between (4) and the arrow at the end of the system tray thingy. cheers!

This thing apperently happens randomly and it happens when I turn my laptop on. There is suppose to be the language bar between (3) and (4) but I tried pushing it into place (apperently I push too much) that it disappeared. From experience I know that all I need to do is restart my computer and all will be well. But I want to solve this problem once and for all, so if anyone can help I will appreciate it alot. Thanks in advance!

Hya Purgetroika , welcome to PCHF.
That will be a matter of clicking on them and while holding down the mouse button , dragging them in the correct location...But how to know to drag wich to where.. that could be a nice puzzle im afraid.. You could try this to reset the taskbar settings completly , download it and run it by double clicking on it: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/regs...top_fixall.vbs Then see if it is back to normal then. Or maybe this could help: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/taskbarplus!.htm

Hey Joe! I restarted my computer and it's back to normal. The problem is not pushing things into place, as you coud see from the image, I opened one Firefox window but two bars appear in the taskbar. Plus there are two other dividers that just take space and I have no idea where they came from.
It's fine now, but I'm sure it will come back in a few more days. I think it happens randomly, if it is going to happen it will happen at startup. Anyway, thanks for the reply! cheers! |
