Angry Windows XP restarts Unexpectedly

Hi,

I recently purchased a Pentium D processor with a Asus P5P800 SE motherboard and half a meg of Ram.

I put all the stuff together, it was really easy to do and then attached my graphics card: GeForce FX 5200 and my hard drive (not sure of the brand)

The computer is very fast and seems to be good now I have installed windows xp on it, however there is one small but irritating problem: Every now and then when i click on for example a link on the internet or open my computer the computer just restarts!

What could this be? Right now I am sat at this computer and its working fine, but soon to come will be an annoying restart, no error messages, no warning, just "booomf", restart.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am a serious gamer and the probem also happens when i am playing the game sometimes.

Thanx,386

Default update on the restarting problem

I just disabled auto restart and got the blue screen when it happened.

It says IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Hope this is relevant in helping people help me!

Yep I know your problem! It happened with my old 5200.
First of all can you please tell me if your motherboard is an nforce? And if so what number. 1,2,3,4.
Then the make of your cpu.
After that I should be able to give you the right motherboard and graphics drivers which solved my problem.
