Default slf file corrupted or missing

Hi my name is Beth and i'm looking for any help on this problem
i've had to reinstall windows xp on my pal computer ive re formatted it stuck in the setup disks loaded the cd but it keeps coming up with " The following value in the slf file used by setup is corrupted or missing value 0 on the line in section (source disks file) with key "sp2.cab." setup can not continue
has anyone got any ideas would help me out a lot

Are you sure the disc is clean?
Has the disc been used to install XP earlier, and did that succeed?

I Guess i should try and work things out first before i send mail just posted your reply to myself ok thanks for getting back to me i've used the disk once before with no problems worked like a dream straight off first time any suggestions at this time would be very welcome thanks for your time
