Hi there, to enter your bios when you first turn on your computer a splash screen should be displayed showing your computer make, it usually says under the picture which buttons to press to enter bios, usually it can be any of the "F" keys, e.g f4, or the delete key, it depends on your computer make, once your into the bios just remove your cd drive from the primary / secondary boot device list, your cd drive will be one of the two, if its primary then your hard drive shall be the secondary boot device or vice versa and this shall solve your problem, just remember that the next time you wish to install xp via boot you will need to re-enable your cd drive as primary boot device. Hope this helps yours Dave
