Default DNS Flush

Hi there Trixta,

Welcome to The PCHF,
The way to clear the DNS cache is from the command prompt, type
C:\> ipconfig /flushdns Flushing the DNS cache clears all entries and reloads the entries from the Hosts file.
Let us know how you get on.

Hey Trixta,

It's possible that some malware is causing the problem trying to protect itself. Have you done any malware removal with us in the past?

We have a generic starting point for that we call PreWork, you will find a link in my signature. Post back the two logs and we can at least rule out malware as a suspect.

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN

Thanks Trixta, did you save the ewido log? It would be helpful to see that as well. Please post your logs as attachments by using the attachment tool in the toolbar, those other sites take too long. Simply click on theicon in your toolbar, browse to locate your log, click on Upload, close the attachment manager, and your log is attached. Thanks.

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN
