please help when i try and install windows xp on my pc it freezes on the blue screen that says "setup is now starting windows" just before it askes if you want to install or repair its really bugging me ive tried everything i can think of please help just to be clear it doesnt ask if i want to install or repair it freezes just befor that and wont do anything

Hey there, possibly a faulty hard drive, try removing it and plugging it into another ide cable, also if u have any other hard drives plugged in remove them untill the end of installation. also is ur computer ide a Sata type? and can u plz post ur computer specifications. hope this helps ur dave
