Hi guys, it's my first post here

I've got 3 problems, which started simultaniously (after I failed to delete a virus called win32 something , that avast was warning me about):

My taskbar is missing
Can't move my desktop icons
can't copy paste

They must be related to the SAME cause because I've read a post from a guy (on another forum) who was experiencing those 3 problems as well. He said that the support guy from Dell told him that something had changed his bios configuration. He said he was able to fix everyting with that guy's help!!

any info would be more than welcome.

I'll see what I can do, but right now I'm using another computer to post here, as there's not much I can do with my machine. Not even sure I can run highjackthis. I'll let you know...Thanks
