I am having a problem running a WMV. file in Windows Media. The picture is very bad, like a negative instead of positive picture. I hope there is a simple answer for this but I'm puzzled right now.

Does the problem only occur when you play that particular file?
Are you able to try to play the file on another computer?

No, the problem is with all wmv. files. I haven't tried it on another computer.

Have you tried reinstalling Windows Media Player (so that codecs etc. will be restored)?

I just downloaded the new windows media player (beta) URGE last week. I had the problem before and after the download.
