Default weird boot up

i went to test my cd-rom drive to see if it could boot from disc using my windows xp disc. It worked and it entered xp setup, so i simply chose to exit (F3) the setup screen seeing as how i really didnt need to install the os.

however, whenever i go to boot up my comp. a screen comes up asking me if i wish to enter win xp setup or run on the currently installed xp home edition os.

it happens everytime i start up and i cant get rid of it, is there anyway that i can skip over this screen?

yep. the hard disk is set first in boot priority, followed by the cd-rom

could this be happening b/c my comp. thinks its in the middle of an installation?

Hya Ctrlaltdel.

Can you post the content of youre boot.ini?

Go to start/run and type: c:\boot.ini , press enter , and copy the contents of the window that comes up.
