Well My Computer A Dell dimension 3000 was working fine this morning, so I shut it off and did chores. So I went back and turned it on and it said there was an error and it will restore the system to the last restore point. Well I left it on and it has been going on for about an hour now, How long does this useually take and what could the cause be. Thanks

I don't believe that I've had the pleasure, so my welcome to the forum to you.

This can be caused by many things, including a malware infection. It sounds as though your computer is hanging at some point in the restore process. I would try to completely shut it down, and restart.

Please let us know if the problem resolves, reappears, or changes.
