on a legal version xp pro cd/key ,, how many pc,s can run the same legal key?

it depends if it is a single user key or a volume license not sure if it is called volume license but it's something like that

is there a price difference between the two versions... my key is counter fit and iv installed it on several pc's now showing same thing.. i wish to resolve this issue one way or another<

So it is not a legal key , and there for you are not allowed to use it on even one pc.
