i have a sony vaio vgn fs295vp, and i accidently eresed my complete harddrive
(was trying some linux things out). now luckely i had mad a complete backup on dvd's with nero burning. so, i boot from the backup dvd's and a nero restore programm shows up. i am able to let the program restore the backup dvd's on harddrive, but when finished it sais: REBOOT NOW FOR USE OF RESTORED SYSTEM. but when i reboot nothing happens, just a blinking cursor in the upper left corner of my screen.i tried allready to boot from a windows xp cd-rom and ran the fixmbr command in restore mode, but this doesn't seem to work.
is there anyone who has got a solution for my problem?
great thanks in advance!
Jan.
