Default Task Manager to run on startup

I like the feature in task manager, that shows as an icon at the bottom of the screen the CPU usage, when the task manager is minimised.

Anyone know how to get task manager to run in startup?

Hey Muddock!
Welcome to PC Helpforum!

You can go into C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Menu Start\Programs\Start-Up, and create a shortcut to 'taskmgr.exe' there.
That should do it.

Please let us know if this is what you were looking for.

And if you , after you placed the shortcut there , rightclick it and select "properties" , and then after "run" select "minimized" then only the system tray icon shows on bootup , the taskmanager window itself wil not show.
