Default I Have Searched Everywhere Please Help!

Hi,

I am new to this forum. Saw that can get some help so am writing here.

I have a Laptop with 2 GB Ram 60 GB harddrive and Centrino 2.0 GHz

Stupid machine is worse than my old one.

Sometimes the problem happens when I open 9 pages and sometimes with 7 pages sometimes with 15.

After I open up a certain amount of programs it wont open anymore. If I open up an IE page the toolbars wont be there and then the page is blank.

I have to close a couple pages to open another one, etc..

Example is

If I have 10 pages open to open #11 I need to close 2 pages.
Now I have 9 pages open with the new page.

To open another page I need to close 2 more pages. Etc Etc this goes on until I have to close almost all my pages.

I have downloaded computer monitoring programs but its not the RAM the CPU or the Paging file since every time this problem occurs I still have 1GB ram to spare and only 30% of paging is used. What is it then??????????

Im losing sleep over something thats probably very easy. Its probably like an option or something that I have to turn off somewhere.

HELP PLEASE!!!!!!

Oh by the way, nice form. Thanks

Hey cyptc, welcome to PCHF!

There is probably alot of nasties running around inside of your computer...

Can you please download and run Spybot Search & Destroy and AdAware.

After you have done that, please dowload HiJackThis! and post the logfile here for one of our security experts to analyze. Be sure to upload it as an attachment instead of posting it directly to the forums.

Uhm.. How about the normal prework Space?

Hya Cyptc.

It sounds indeed like you have a malware problem , please follow the instructions in the "Prework" link below in my sig and post back with the two resulting log files.

By the way I have done what you have suggested Joe5 and heres the hijack file.

This would happen with my old PC but only after I had 40 IE pages. Now its happeing with even 10 IE pages. I have to close eveything and reopen to be able to open alot of pages.

If I close everything and then start opening web pages I can open about 20. But if I have had a couple pages open for an hour then I can only open 2-3 more until it stops allowing me to open any more.

Its not a ram problem though as the computer says " a ram prog i have " I have 1400 ram blank still.

I really appreciate your help.

Thanks.
