Resolved: Blue screens while playing games

My computers been giving me major headaches for the last 2 weeks.It was getting blue screens and freezing about 10 minutes of me starting it up but when I took it to the shop to have it repaired nothing happened,after about half an hour no freezing or blue screens.I took it home and it seemed to be working fine.

Well now its 2 days later and starting to do the same thing again but only when I'm playing games and its takes about 15 to 20 minutes before it gives me the blue screen.The games I were playing were Oblivion and Counter Strike Source.

I dont know how important this is but I recently got a message from Microsoft saying that my copy of Windows isn't genuine.I bought this computer from a vendor who in November of last year with Windows Xp installed on it.What should I do?

Can you give us some specifications of your PC?

The guy at the repair shop didn't do anything,I took my PC there to show him what was wrong with it.And when nothing happened after a half hour I took it back home with me.
My specification are a Amd64 3200+,1 gig of ram,80,Gb hard drive,Ati X800GT,Windows Xp.

Hi GSX1100, have u check that your graphic cards drivers are up to date ?

I'm not sure,how do I check if they are?
I did update the drivers about 2 months ago when I installed Half Life2. The steam installation wizard told me drivers where out of date and gave me a link to where I downloaded the latest ones.
Welll my PC isn't even loading Windows up today so I'm totaly lost now.
Tried safe mode but it just reboots itself.

Howdy GSX1100,
This sounds more like an over heating problem.. If you can take off the side of your case and place a table fan ( if you have one) next to it blowing in. Also while your in there check to see if your CPU fans are blowing and spinning.

Ya your drivers might be a little out of date but it wont cause this much problems. So it seems heat is the suspect now.

Thanks to all you guys that tried to help me.I've gotten the vedor I bought the PC from to have a look at it and to give me a genuine copy of Windows.
