Default Windows Media Player gaps

Hi guys,

Does anyone know how to stop gaps between tracks on WMP11? It's been fine up until now, and then started giving a 2 second gap between tracks. Really irritatng as my songs should overlap.

Howdy Scouse,
Are these songs that gap music your ripped from your cd rom?

Edit: SOrry forogt the ( I hope it works) solution lol.

Select Edit ....... Preferences .....make sure that the Audio CD button is selected. Choose how long a gap should be inserted between songs. If you have continuous mix DJ music, make sure there is no gap between songs.

Hi asa,

The songs are both ripped from cd, and downloaded. And both types have the gap. Yep, I am listening to continuous mix music, so you can understand how frustrating it is!

As for your solution, I do not have edit or preferences as an option. The list of options it does provide, don't seem to contain anything relevant either.
