Howdy Cool Guy and welcome to the forums,
When you boot into "regualr mode" can you still see your task manager by pressin control alt del. if so go to the tab that says new task and type in explorer.exe

Sounds like you have some malware/spyware issues to me..

If you can in safe mode please fllow hese directions and post a log in the hijack this secion of the forums

Hi againCool_guy sorry for the delay in postings

Ok here is what I would like you to try

Boot into normal mode
Hit CTRL ALT and DEL at the same time. Your task manager will come up..

There will be a tab there for new task click that

Now in the box type in " explorer.exe" Without the quotes of course.
Now you should be able to see your background.
If not as soon as you download hijackthis let scan and save a copy now right clickthe HJT log and click CTRL and A then CTRL and C

Now save it to a notepad document cloe it and save as hjt.txt then upload it (before) rebotting pc..to your next post...

do you have admin rights on the pc?

Deep freeze 5 is a program ijnstalled on pc's to keep users from doing anything on the pc. If you know the password you can

Boot into safe mode go to add remove programs and see if you can unistall deep freeze.

if not try downloading in safe mode the trial and get the password for uninstalling it (if you have admin rights) from here
